Fees/Billing

Pregnancy Care - €2,950
Pregnancy care at the Women’s Health Group includes all your visits where you will have regular pregnancy checks and ultrasound scans. These are normally attended by a consultant, and or a Midwife Sonographer. The number of visits during your care is determined by the consultant and ranges from 8-15 visits per pregnancy. It also includes a visit following the birth of your baby by the practice midwife/family planning nurse, and a review with the consultant as required. Also included in the fee is the provision of any additional services or care required in the event of complications during your pregnancy. This fee also covers twin pregnancies.

The standard payment plan is payment of €300 at your first visit, €1,000 at your 20 weeks scan and €1,000 at 30 week, with €650 due prior to delivery.

We understand that in the current economic climate it is financially challenging for the majority of people. Having said that we would like to ensure that your pregnancy is as enjoyable as possible and that all patients can avail of our quality service. With this in mind we would be happy to facilitate a payment plan that would suit your circumstances so that you have the comfort of knowing that you are giving your baby and yourselves the best medical care possible. Everyone wants the best for their children so why not start as you mean to go on!

Please note that the cost in relation to your delivery is covered by your health insurer.

The Womens Health Group also offers 3D/4D ultrasound scanning.  The optimum time to carry out a 3D scan is 25-30 weeks gestation, and 20-26 weeks for twin pregnancy.
